Idea Board for Much Wanted Owl Tattoo

Somehow these bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush would be incorporated into my owl tattoo...not sure how, I'm open to ideas!

I was thinking a background of sorts, and then the owl would be perched on a joshua tree branch or something to that nature.

Any thoughts?

It would be relatively large...on my side.

I so want this! Can't wait to have it done--uhm, maybe this june? Or maybe Spring Break...in 2 weeks??!!

Tuesday Walk

Yesterday was gorgeous outside so I decided that it would be awesome for Max (Cory's dog) and I to go for a walk. I wish it weren't so dang windy outside so I could enjoy a walk but I don't think the wind is going to stop for me today.

I thought I might share some photos I snapped on our journey.

And although Max was pretty tuckered out by the time we were close to home...he still had the energy to dig for whatever lives/lived in this here hole.

Max jumped in his water bucket when we finally got home...poor guy! He was thirsty as heck!

On My Travel List!

Geez...so many neat places to see! I've been thinking about traveling a lot latetly...mainly because my husband and I are coming up on our 1 year wedding anniversary ♥. We've been inseperable for 8 years, going on 9 in June and we still have yet to travel together. We've made trips to other parts of California, and visited family in Nevada but we have never really gone on long road trip or taken a place together....or a cruise. This has got to change. #1 on my list of adventures is to visit the Grand Canyon or Utah! There are so many cool places to hike and new critters to discover! Neither of us has been and we've been talking about it for a while. We wanted to go for a long weekend back in October for our honeymoon but then my car had issues. Bummer; it's always something. So we still haven't had a honeymoon! So, this only means that our anniversary has to be awesome enough to make up for it and serve as a sweet get-a-way for a perfect 1 yr. So...while I'm brainstorming ideas, I'll post some cool photos of things to do and places to visit, incase we just cannot decide until the last minute ( as usual) where we want to travel to! Who knows, maybe we'll end up in Australia (#3 on my list of adventures)!

New Zealand...a gorgeous place that I would love, love, love to visit. I'm afraid I would never want to leave though! It would be an amazing experience to do some hiking there.

:: Looking Forward to Spring ::

Blooming Desert
Johanna Girard
Taken from fineartamerica.com
Yesterday was so beautiful...the weather just perfect, calm wind, the sun shining. Although I love the Fall and Winter seasons here in the desert, I am hoping Spring will arrive early this year. I can't wait to get out there and search for Horned Lizards, Chuckwallas, and Desert Iguanas! I can't wait to take pictures of the gorgeous wildflowers that blanket the desert in early Spring! I can't wait to take pictures of the pretty sunsets, crazy desert critters and go on long hikes and 4-wheel adventures with my husband. There are so many wonderful things to look forward this Spring...
